Iglu is looking for a Business Development Intern to assist our client projects. The business development area combines marketing, sales, and strategy tasks. A business development intern will be involved in a variety of responsibilities, including client search, product development, market expansion, new market development, and negotiation.
Duration: 1st September – 30th November 2022
Main responsibilities
- Work closely with the Sales Director, and complete allocated tasks
- Learn the client’s product, business model and sales cycles
- Conduct market research and identify prospects in the key geographic regions
- Enter client and prospect data, including schedules, and sales meeting records into the customer relationship management (CRM) system used by the client
- Attend and participate in strategic sales meetings and partnership check-in meetings
- Identify potential weaknesses and offer improvement suggestions
- Keep a log of everything learned and deliver presentations to the client’s staff
- Complete other sales-related projects and tasks as assigned
Requirements & qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong research, sales and analytical skills
