I have a PhD in Computer Science and over 20 years of experience in academia, industry, and open source. I’ve worked on operating systems, compilers, virtual machines, web browsers, word processors, web apps (frontend and backend), mobile apps, web search engines, and peer-to-peer networks. I have also taught university courses ranging from first year to masters level.
I’ve worked with many different programming languages over the years but these days mostly prefer Rust, C/C++, TypeScript, or Python. I love learning new things and can pick up new technologies quickly, so I am comfortable adapting to different tech stacks as needed for the projects I work on.
I am highly motivated, self-driven, and strive for high quality and productivity using practices like automated testing, static type checking, continuous integration, version control, and strong written communication.
